Thankful Thursday

For an interesting twist, I thought I would make a list of what I'm thankful I don't have:

Cable TV
bothersome in-laws
serious health issues
a child with serious health issues
a boat
a swimming pool
a blue tooth cell phone
a debilitating addiction
an unhealthy relationship with a family member
a gas guzzling vehicle
the urge to watch American Idol
a huge ego
the belief that Oprah and Dr. Phil know it all
the answers to LOST
satin sheets
annoying neighbors
a minister who condemns us for our failures
doubt about my faith

Great. I think we get caught in what we are "unhappy" about at times that we forget to be thankful! Thanks for sharing!

Great idea. After my tivo cut of the end of American Idol last night, I too wish I didn't have the urge to watch it, but I do! Here's how it went down.

Ryan Seacrest: And the winner...of Am-ER-ican Idol 2008...is--(end of recorded show.)

Argh!

Too Funny - except not having a boat. :) My hubby and all the kids are water skiers and they love our very old boat! It's been precious times on the lake. Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend.

What an original idea! That was very good. You should start up a new thing with this.

What a great post! I agree with all except the swimming pool. It was in the 90s here today. :)
